Lyrical dance is a fusion of ballet, jazz and contemporary movement that explores emotion, expression, and personal style. Lyrical dance has a range of performance that can be both difficult and precise, or broad and emotive. Lyrical dance done well requires a unique mastery of both self-expression and movement interpretation to convey a feeling to the viewer. It is poetry in motion and a personal connection of the dancer with the audience.
