Estelle & Alfonso Preschool and Kindergarten strives to nurture and guide each child's development, physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually, in an environment where learning unfolds through play and exploration. Creativity and artistic expression are highly valued and part of every day's experience. Our Preschool and Kindergarten is designed to aid in the development of your child’s intellect as well as the creative, social and emotional skills that create good working and social habits during these very important formative and developmental years.

We provide a safe place in which the multiple relationships among children, staff and parents are recognized, respected and encouraged. Self-regulation and responsibility are promoted and facilitated in a warm environment that is organized, and consistent. We come together through our children and our shared desire that their earliest school experience provide a foundation of thoughtfulness, confidence and excitement about the intrinsic pleasure of learning.

The Kindergarten program, through research and observation, has designed a unique performance based curriculum that provides a smooth transition into the 1st grade. The developmentally appropriate learning process incorporates dance, gymnastics, music, drama play and thematic lessons in curriculum areas. The program uses academic lesson plans plus performance play to make learning fun and exciting. This Kindergarten is focused on accelerated learners with a demonstrated aptitude for creativity. Academic and creative ability testing is only one aspect of the admissions process; considerable weight is also given to personal interviews and Preschool performance recommendations. Class size is limited.
